Discover the Hollywood Heights of Los Angeles
In August of 1997, in honor of prominent journalist Theo Wilson, the intersection of her Hollywood Heights neighborhood was respectively named after her, at the intersection of Glencoe Way and Camrose Drive, Theo Wilson Square. Theo Wilson lived in this neighborhood for 25 years before suffering from a stroke, making the naming of the intersection a happy moment for her neighbors who cared and admired the late journalist.
Dating back to the silent film era, Hollywood Heights has been home to many historical homes and buildings that belonged to numerous people in the film and music industry. A neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles, the Hollywood Bowl is north of it and Outpost Estates is to the west. H.J. Whitley developed the neighborhood in 1902 as part of the Hollywood-Ocean View Tract.
